Summit450 and 600 models are offered with a choice of either high-speed servo motor drives or linear motor drives. The Summit 800 uses a precision ball-screw and servo motor drive system. All Summit models offer very high accuracy, while the linear motor models offer high speeds and improved motion control resulting in higher accuracy and throughput.

The Summit systems are ideal for measurement of large format parts requiring high accuracy, such as solder paste stencils and screens, artwork, panelized printed circuit boards, flex circuits, and micro-etched parts.

Summitmodels can be equipped with an optional through-the-lens or offset mounted laser for added flexibility in Z-axis measurements. Summit models can also utilize the optional SpectraProbe? offering sub-micron Z-axis measurement resolution.

A large travel, high accuracy dimensional metrology system

The VIEW Summit delivers high accuracy and high measuring speeds for near-line process monitoring and quality assurance applications. XY Stage velocities of 200 mmc (standard model) and 400 mmc (with optional linear motor drive system) ensure very high productivity on the factory floor.
Available in two large travel sizes, Summit is ideally suited for measuring large footprint parts such as PCBs, stencils, flat panel displays, etching sheets, and
mask patterns, as well as nested groups of smaller parts.
